How and Where to Vote

Voting in Ohio is easy and convenient.  You can choose to vote early by mail or in person.

HOW TO VOTE EARLY BY MAIL

1)    Fill out an application. Applications will be mailed to ALL REGISTERED VOTERS for this election and can also be printed online through your county’s Board of Elections. For Franklin County, applications can be printed online through its website at https://vote.franklincountyohio.gov/assets/absentee/Absentee-Application-Form-11-A.pdf

For Delaware County, applications can be printed online through its website at http://delawareboe.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/absentee.pdf)

For Union County, applications can be printed online through its website at https://www.sos.state.oh.us/globalassets/elections/forms/11-a_english.pdf)

Be sure to fill out the form completely.

Applications are available right now. The Board of Elections will begin issuing ballots to those who requested one starting October 10, 2018.

2) Mail your application.

Mail your application the sooner the better to ensure the Board of Elections receives your ballot in a timely manner. Mail your application to:

        Franklin County: Board of Elections; P.O. Box 182111; Columbus, OH 43218-2111

        Delaware County: Board of Elections; 2079 US Highway 23 N; P.O. Box 8006; Delaware, Ohio 43015

        Union County: Board of Elections; 835 East 5th St  Suite A.; Marysville, Ohio 43040

3) Watch your mailbox for your ballot.

Beginning October 10, 2018 ballots will be mailed to your home address.

4) Complete your ballot.

Please follow all instructions – especially those related to your signature!

Make sure you vote FOR Dublin City Schools operating levy.

5) Mail your ballot.

Your ballot must be postmarked no later than Monday, November 5, 2018 and with the correct postage. The best way to make sure your vote is in on time, however, is to mail it as soon as possible. Mail your ballot to:

HOW TO VOTE EARLY IN PERSON

1) Contact the Board of Elections (Franklin County: https://vote.franklincountyohio.gov/; Delaware County: http://delawareboe.org/; Union County: https://www.co.union.oh.us/board-of-elections) to confirm early in-person voting hours and parking arrangements. Tell them that you want to vote early and be sure to bring a valid ID.

2) At the Board of Elections, simply fill out an early voting application and your ballot.  Make sure you vote FOR the Dublin City Schools levy.

VOTING ON ELECTION DAY

If voting on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, is your preference, remember that the polls in Ohio are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
